Position: Inventory Control and Warehouse Manager
About: Lincoln Electric Product Co. Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and analytical Warehouse & Inventory Manager to lead inventory control, material flow, and warehouse organization. This role is critical in ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient stock movement, and seamless material handover to shop departments while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will develop and implement a robust inventory management system that optimizes warehouse operations, reduces waste, and ensures materials are properly tracked, stored, and distributed. This position requires strong leadership, expertise in inventory best practices, and proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms. The Warehouse & Inventory Manager will work closely with logistics, procurement, and production teams to prevent stock shortages, optimize inventory turnover, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. This full-time, exempt position reports directly to senior management and requires a hands-on approach to overseeing warehouse operations.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or higher required; 5+ years of experience in a warehouse/logistic environment; 3+ years of experience managing a warehouse team; strong knowledge of inventory management best practices and warehouse operations; strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations; proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms; advanced Excel skills for inventory tracking and reporting; experience implementing warehouse automation (e.g., barcoding, RFID)
