Position: Inventory Control
About: At Ashley Furniture, the largest manufacturer of home furnishings in the world, we are dedicated to building incredible furniture and future leaders. We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Associate for our retail distribution center to uphold transactional accuracy, adhere to SOP and audit requirements, analyze inventory reports, and resolve control issues while supporting various departments.
Requirements: Performs monthly cycle counts in the warehouse; publishes daily cycle count results and runs reports to identify shrink; runs various inventory reports; maintains labeling for all physical locations; reconciles retail merchandise invoices and purchase orders; monitors inventory transfers; serves as a liaison between stores and the distribution center; coordinates merchandise donations; demonstrates core values; manages inventory movement and disposal; audits transactions; participates in meetings, training, and education; trains associates from other departments on inventory control practices.
