Position: Inventory Assistant
About: The Walker Books Group, one of the world’s leading publishers of books and content for young readers, is seeking an Inventory Assistant to support Holiday House and Peachtree. This position plays a crucial role in managing the warehouse inventory of over 7,000 active titles, working closely with distributors, freight forwarders, internal departments, and external partners to ensure efficient stock management and resolve related issues.
Requirements: Two years of book publishing, bookstore, or book distribution experience; strong computer skills including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel; understanding of and ability to work with sales and inventory data; excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks; experience with supply chain and import/export freight logistics a plus
