Position: IHOP Host/Hostess
About: As a Host/Hostess, you will have the opportunity to provide a memorable first impression to our guests by promptly, cheerfully, and courteously welcoming them. Greeting with a smile and making our guests feel welcome is the most important thing we can do and that privilege belongs to this job! Other duties include: Opening the door for guests arriving and departing, accommodating any special needs of guests (e.g., boosters, highchairs, disabilities), answering the phone, managing an online waitlist, taking, entering, and packaging to-go orders (including delivering to vehicles as needed), and providing guest assistance to servers as needed (serving food and drinks, cleaning tables, etc).
Requirements: A qualified applicant believes in showing up to work on time, well-groomed, with a clean uniform ready to work. Must have good communication skills, be able to lift 5-15 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours, occasionally use motion which entails pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
