Position: IHOP Host/Hostess
About: As a Host/Hostess, you will have the opportunity to provide a memorable first impression to guests by promptly, cheerfully, and courteously welcoming them. Greeting with a smile and making guests feel welcome is the most important aspect of this role. Other duties include opening the door for arriving and departing guests, accommodating special needs such as boosters, highchairs, and disabilities, answering the phone, managing an online waitlist, taking, entering, and packaging to-go orders, providing guest assistance to servers, serving food and drinks, and cleaning tables.
Requirements: A qualified applicant believes in showing up to work on time, well-groomed with a clean uniform ready to work. Must have good communication skills, be able to lift 5-15 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours, occasionally use motion involving pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
