Position: IC – Insurance Risk Control Consultant
About: EXL Risk Control is a leading provider of risk assessments and loss control surveys to commercial lines insurance carriers. They are currently seeking a Commercial Insurance Risk Control Consultant – Independent Contractor with 10+ years of experience in commercial Property & Casualty Risk Control, strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and a dedication to meeting client quality and timeliness standards. The role involves scheduling on-site surveys, providing risk evaluation and improvement reports to insurance industry clients, and managing assignments within a local territory. Consultants will work from home or their office, conducting risk evaluation surveys for various commercial insurance lines of business.
Requirements: Candidates must have 10+ years of Risk Control Consulting experience, preferably with a major carrier or national brokerage. A BS Degree in Engineering, Safety, or the physical sciences is preferred, along with CSP or ARM designations. Experience in Commercial Lines Property/Casualty Loss Control, Underwriting, Claims Adjusting, insurance inspections, and fire and life safety investigations is beneficial. Applicants must not be Licensed Insurance Agents/Producers.
