Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school, is seeking married couples to serve as Houseparents in a family-like setting, providing guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school offers comprehensive career-focused education with fully covered housing, meals, and more, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; Two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage and both spouses aged 27 or older; No more than three dependent children in the student home; Abide by campus regulations including smoke-free, weapon-free policy, no alcohol while on duty, limitations on pets; Valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; Comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services without proselytizing; High school diploma or GED required; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; Demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; Both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
