Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution, is seeking married couples to serve as Houseparents in Hershey, PA. Houseparents play a vital role in nurturing and guiding 8-12 students, providing a supportive environment and essential care on campus for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including a smoke-free, weapon-free environment, and no alcohol while on duty; must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
