Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private educational institution offering a career-focused education, housing, meals, and comprehensive support to students from underprivileged backgrounds from pre-K through 12th grade. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is fully endowed, ensuring a nurturing environment for both students and staff to thrive. MHS is seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to groups of students, fostering a family-like structure and handling various responsibilities.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; this role is for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older, no more than three dependent children in the student home, smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy, valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans, ability to lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, high school diploma or GED, able to lift up to 50 lbs, demonstrate high integrity as role models for students, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
