Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution, is seeking married couples to serve as Houseparents on their campus in Hershey, PA. Houseparents at Milton Hershey School provide a nurturing family-like environment for a group of 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering guidance, medication administration, and transportation while living on campus. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol permitted while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
