Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, providing a supportive and family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds on campus. This role involves guiding students, managing household duties, and fostering academic and personal growth in a unique and fulfilling educational setting.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no smoking or weapons, no alcohol on duty, limitations on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading student devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
