Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Houseparents. The school provides exceptional career-focused education, housing, meals, and comprehensive support to students from pre-K through 12th grade with disadvantaged backgrounds.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage and both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus rules including a smoke-free and weapon-free environment, no alcohol while on duty, limitations on pets, and participation in campus activities; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstration of high integrity as role models for students; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses.
