Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides exceptional career-focused education, housing, meals, and full support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Married couples are sought to become flex houseparents, residing on-campus and guiding groups of 8-12 students to foster a family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, ideally from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for a minimum of two years and both spouses should be at least 27 years old; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; possess a valid driver’s license and become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; maintain a smoke-free, weapon-free, and alcohol-free environment while on duty; abide by campus pet regulations; demonstrate a high level of integrity as a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
