Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking dedicated and nurturing couples to serve as Houseparents. This unique role involves providing a family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering them support, guidance, and care within the campus setting.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Sunday chapel services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no alcohol while on duty, limitations on pets, and smoke-free and weapon-free environment; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as a role model for students.
