Position: Houseparents – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents on their campus. Houseparents provide a nurturing family-like environment for students from pre-K through 12th grade, offering guidance and support in various daily responsibilities. This unique role allows couples to make a significant impact on students’ lives within a well-endowed and supportive community provided by the school.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including a smoke-free, weapon-free environment and restrictions on pets; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
