Position: Houseparents, Full-Time – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking full-time Houseparents to create a nurturing family-like environment for disadvantaged students. This unique position involves guiding approximately 8-12 students, providing emotional and educational support, and fostering a supportive home atmosphere on campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy adherence; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfort leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and role model qualities; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
