Position: Houseparents, Full-Time – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution, is seeking dedicated Houseparents to create a nurturing family-like environment for students from underprivileged backgrounds. Houseparents work in couples to guide and support approximately 8-12 students, fostering their growth and well-being within the school’s caring educational environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, especially from under-served backgrounds; married couples legally married for at least two years and both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; both spouses must complete individual employment applications and demonstrate a high level of integrity as role models for students
