Position: Houseparents, Full-Time – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is currently seeking full-time houseparents to provide essential support and guidance to students in a family-like setting. Houseparents play a crucial role in ensuring the overall wellbeing of students and offer a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27 or older; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application
