Position: Houseparents, Full-Time – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution located in Hershey, PA, is seeking dedicated full-time Houseparents to provide a nurturing family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Houseparents at Milton Hershey School play a vital role in guiding and supporting a group of 8-12 students, handling various tasks such as administering medication, budgeting, and driving, with a focus on creating a positive impact in the students’ lives.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; two years of legal marriage for couples; both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and certification to drive student home vans; willingness to lead students in daily devotions and attend Sunday chapel services; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus adherence; limited pets policy (fish and one approved breed dog only)
