Position: Houseparents, Full-Time – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a leading private school in Hershey, PA, provides a career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering housing, meals, and comprehensive support at no cost. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, residing on campus to provide guidance, mentoring, and a family-like environment for students in their care.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; two years of legal marriage for couples; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol permitted on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate high integrity and serve as a role model for students; both spouses to complete individual employment applications
