Position: Houseparents, Full-Time – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey to provide exceptional career-focused education and housing for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, is seeking full-time Houseparents in Hershey, PA. Houseparents, married couples, create a family-like environment for 8-12 students, offering guidance, logistical support, and a stable home atmosphere.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; both spouses must complete an individual employment application; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; no alcohol permitted while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed
