Position: Houseparents, Full-Time – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is seeking dedicated Houseparents who will reside on-campus to provide guidance and support to 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This unique role involves creating a family-like environment, managing household responsibilities, and fostering a nurturing atmosphere within the school community.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples applying must have been legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license with the capability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students
