Position: Houseparents, Full-Time – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school in Hershey, PA, is seeking dedicated Houseparents. These married couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing guidance and creating a family-like environment for students from underprivileged backgrounds. The role involves nurturing and supporting youth within a structured and caring setting, emphasizing commitment and collaboration from both partners.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be aged 27 or older; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (note: Proselytizing is prohibited); both spouses must complete an individual employment application
