Position: HOUSEKEEPING AIDE-NON UNION-LEV
About: Responsible for cleaning the facility to meet all standards of cleanliness and to ensure a clean, safe, healthy environment for all residents, visitors, and staff. Cleans assigned areas using established institutional cleaning techniques for a healthcare facility. Washes floors, walls, furnishings, patient rooms, offices, corridors, public areas using dust mops, wet mops, vacuums, and similar cleaning aids. Maintains restrooms in a clean, sanitary condition. Replenishes supplies such as towels, toilet tissue, and soap. Collects trash throughout the facility and maintains the outside holding area in a clean, sanitary condition. Shampoos upholstered furniture and carpets as needed. Removes and re-hangs drapes/cubicle curtains as needed. Understands and abides by Levindale’s Customer Service Commitment. Makes Great First Impressions. Acknowledges and greets customers, makes eye contact, and wears their name badge appropriately. Shows Care and Concern. Stops and actively listens to what people are saying and treats them as if meeting their needs is the most important thing to do today. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in cleaning roles preferred; ability to follow established cleaning procedures; understanding of customer service principles; effective communication and interpersonal skills; teamwork and problem-solving abilities
