Position: Housekeeping Aid
About: This position is within the Environmental Management Services Division of a VA Medical Center, performing janitorial and custodial services including textile distribution, sanitizing, waste removal, cleaning of blinds, washing windows, dusting, discharge cleaning, floor maintenance, etc.
Requirements: To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Experience in janitorial or custodial work is beneficial. Physical ability to perform continuous walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and using heavy cleaning equipment over 50 pounds. Ability to work indoors with exposure to varying temperatures and outdoors in different weather conditions. Careful attention to safety precautions when handling hazardous materials and operating equipment.
