Position: Housekeeping Administrative
About: Marriott International is seeking Administrative Property Specialists to play a vital role in the critical functions of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Administrative Property Specialists work with all departments (e.g. guest services, engineering, food and beverage), providing administrative support. Through tasks such as preparing documents using word processing software, spreadsheets, databases, or presentations, they act as a liaison between the sales office and clients throughout the entire process (pre-event, during the event, post-event) to achieve smooth operations in the hotel. Regardless of the specific role, maintaining a safe workspace, adhering to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and ensuring professional appearance and communication are essential for success. Building and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and departments, supporting the team to achieve common goals, and appropriately addressing the concerns of other employees are key responsibilities. Being proactive in reporting accidents, damages, and hazardous situations to the manager, as well as engaging in various tasks (moving items, lifting, carrying, pushing objects under 10 pounds without assistance, standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, bending, stretching, and other reasonable tasks requested by supervisors) are part of the role to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in administrative roles preferred; ability to follow company policies and procedures; strong communication and interpersonal skills; physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving objects under 10 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, and carrying out reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors
