Position: Housekeeper – Springfield
About: Mercy Hospital Springfield is currently hiring Full Time and Part Time Housekeepers for All Shifts. The Environmental Services Team plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for patients and visitors. They ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas of the hospital in accordance with infection control regulations, as well as proper disposal of waste. This position requires active movement around the hospital throughout the shift, with duties assigned as needed.
Requirements: Candidates must be able to read and understand basic instructions; High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, on-the-job training provided; Interaction with patients, visitors, and coworkers in a friendly manner while cleaning rooms; Previous experience in healthcare or hospitality field is advantageous
