Position: Housekeeper job
About: The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a great opportunity for a Full Time Housekeeper for the Evangeline Booth Training College in Atlanta, GA. This is a 38.5-hour a week position that includes great employee benefits along with purposeful work in a very loving and caring culture. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour.
Requirements: No formal education or experience required; ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning activities for buildings and grounds; ability to follow instructions and work independently; ability to read and communicate in the English language; knowledge of effective cleaning and sanitizing practices, general building practices and procedures including proper safety precautions; knowledge of effective procedures and practices for washing, drying, and folding large volumes of linens; ability to perform routine cleaning duties, minor repairs, and maintenance activities of guest housing; ability to use and maintain cleaning and maintenance equipment and tools effectively and in a safe manner; ability to follow instructions and work independently; valid state driver’s license; ability to meet attendance requirements and exert physical energy required for housekeeping and minor maintenance work
