About: Blount Memorial Hospital – Environmental Services is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper or Environmental Services Aide to join their team. The role involves performing housekeeping tasks and projects, including cleaning various areas within the hospital setting.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions. Prior housekeeping experience preferred. Must be willing to learn, identify, understand, and demonstrate a working knowledge of housekeeping cleaning techniques. Requires the ability to be receptive and display adequate communication and customer service skills. Requires the ability to effectively deal with the public, patients, staff, department leaders, and peers.
