Position: Housekeeper – Day Shift
About: The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a dedicated and professional housekeeper with integrity and attention to detail to join their growing Housekeeping Group, providing a clean and safe work environment. This position involves collaborating with partners and maintaining a high standard of cleaning services while fostering a culture of inclusion and partnership.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent training and experience; minimum of 2 years cleaning experience; physical ability for extended vacuuming periods, lifting up to 25-30 pounds, and standing for long periods; organizational skills to create independent cleaning schedules; ability to follow English verbal and written directions; customer service experience; reliable transportation; availability for Day Shift (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM) Monday through Friday and/or flexible schedule
