Position: House Person
About: Provides various housekeeping support services for the Luskin Conference Center (LCC). Responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned floors, assisting Guest Room Attendants, Linen Room Attendants, and Housekeeping Supervisors. Accountable for the cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas. Executes the delivery and pickup of guest-requested items to and from guest rooms, maintains Guest Room Attendant carts, and manages the supply of clean linens for the hotel; ensuring closets are fully stocked and removing trash and dirty linens. Tasks are expected to be performed per LCC’s expectations for quality customer service.
Requirements: Knowledge of fundamental custodial tasks and procedures; Knowledge of proper use of chemical materials and cleaning techniques; Ability to comply with safety standards and procedures for both personal and public safety; Knowledge of carpet and hard floor care techniques; Knowledge of inventory control principles and methods; Ability to engage with diverse populations in a respectful and culturally responsive manner; Ability to sufficiently communicate in written and verbal English to receive work assignments and share information with supervisors and colleagues; Ability to work cooperatively as a part of a team; Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance; Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation; Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment; Age Requirement: Candidate(s) must be 18 years or older to be eligible to be hired; Pre-Placement Physical: Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory physical examination; Must be available to work varying schedules; including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs.
