Position: Hotel Moody Brews
About: Moody Brews, located at a family resort open 365 days a year on Galveston Island, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Moody Brews Barista to join their team. The barista will have the opportunity to create the Starbucks Experience for guests, work in a lively environment, and contribute to building human connections through exceptional service and excellent products.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; any combination of education, training, or experience suitable for the role; prior hospitality/server experience (preferred but not required); TABC & Food Handlers Certification required; must be at least 15 years old; cash handling abilities; excellent hospitality skills; ability to work independently or in a team; capacity to handle cash transactions; strong verbal communication skills; physical ability to transport trays weighing up to 30 pounds and push goods on a hand card weighing up to 200 pounds; ability to stand or walk continuously during a shift
