Position: Hotel General Manager, Onsite
About: Kasa is looking to add a highly motivated individual to join our Property Operations team to oversee a one-of-a-kind property in The Clyde By Kasa. As a Hotel General Manager, you will have responsibility for the on-the-ground operations of this property, including management of all departments, optimizing our use of space, and driving property performance through grit and initiative. You will also serve as the face of Kasa on the ground for Kasa guests and building residents. This role is in our Property Operations department where the mission is to ensure guests have a seamless experience from arrival to departure, with team members located nationwide and dedicated to delivering high-quality standards for guest satisfaction.
Requirements: 5+ years of work experience, ideally in the hospitality or service industry; innate ability to serve a diverse base of guests with a service mindset; comfortable ‘rolling up your sleeves’ as a boutique hotel manager and autonomously ‘running the show’; thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, flexible, and adaptable; mix of front-of-house and back-of-house work experience; excellent time management skills; passion for creating exceptional guest experiences while being financially prudent; outgoing and adept at ‘reading the room’; comfortable with technology and virtual communication tools; open-minded towards innovative hospitality and personnel management; plugged into the Portland community or enthusiastic about forming strong community bonds; regular access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record with insurance
