Position: Hotel General Manager job
About: Housed in a landmarked, flatiron-style building in San Francisco’s vibrant Mid-Market district, San Francisco Proper Hotel features captivating interiors by Kelly Wearstler, three inspired settings for meals or a cocktail, incredible rooftop views and impeccable service and amenities. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, a passion for creating memorable guest experiences and the ability to manage all aspects of hotel operations with the highest standards.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred); Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in luxury hotel management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role; Proven track record of managing all aspects of hotel operations with a focus on luxury service and guest satisfaction; Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasts and financial statements; Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team; Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities; Passion for luxury hospitality and a commitment to delivering unparalleled guest experiences
