Position: HOTEL EVENT MANAGER
About: Hyatt is seeking an Event Manager to join the team at Grand Hyatt San Antonio, responsible for executing sales contracts, coordinating group experiences, and ensuring guest satisfaction in both Event Sales and Event Planning.
Requirements: A minimum of 3-5 years of hotel event sales/event planning experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of hotel and/or food & beverage experience preferred; Experienced in general computer knowledge and programs; Refined verbal and written communication skills; Professional appearance and confidence; Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment; Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work well under pressure; Positive leadership characteristics inspiring employees to exceed standards and expectations; Experience in creative development of marketing concepts, custom proposals, and promotional events to increase local event sales; Understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts; Comprehensive knowledge of all operational departments within the hotel; Knowledge of meeting room set-ups and capabilities, sleeping room configurations, and types
