Position: Hotel Conference Aide
About: The Maritime Conference Center, a unique hotel and conference center known for its positive workplace experience and high customer retention rate, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented team member to join their Leadership Team.
Requirements: MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Set up meeting rooms per the BEO or other instructions, including providing basic audio/visual assistance to guests. 2. Assist guests with their meeting needs and contact appropriate management if necessary. 3. Maintain orderly storage spaces. 4. Receive and deliver packages, assisting guests with shipping packages. 5. Monitor Conference HELP line and provide assistance as needed. 6. Perform other assigned duties. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school graduate or equivalent. 2. Some hotel or conference center experience preferred. 3. Ability to follow visual and oral instructions. 4. Punctual, attentive, and capable of multitasking. 5. General understanding of audio/visual equipment and technology use. 6. Able to work independently or as part of a team.
