Position: Host Team Member
About: Veggie Galaxy, an award-winning 90-seat Vegetarian Diner and Vegan Bakery located in Central Square, Cambridge, MA, is currently seeking hosts to be a part of our team. As a host, you will be the first impression that our guests will have of the restaurant, setting the tone for the remainder of their experience. You will also control the flow of the entire restaurant by monitoring table rotation, setting wait time expectations, and seating guests in appropriate sections to manage flow for Servers. Ultimately, we are looking for applicants who can contribute to our mission of providing every single customer with a great experience, from the time they walk in the door to the time they leave.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; customer oriented, high energy, and enthusiastic go-getters; love of people and a warm, welcoming smile; ability to multi-task; big smile
