Position: Host Person – Zeffer’s Cafe
About: Zeffer’s is currently seeking a Host Person to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging, greeting, and seating guests in a friendly and professional manner while managing reservations effectively to enhance the guest experience. They will also handle phone inquiries, reservations, and assist guests with menu-related questions.
Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age or older; Ability to obtain a valid Nevada Food Handler Safety Training Card and Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card; Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; Knowledge of Open Table and Seven Rooms Reservation System; General computer knowledge; Dedicated and willing to go above and beyond; Must have an exceptional, positive personality and hospitality-driven attitude; Exceptional communication skills and articulation; Must be able to multitask and take initiative in a VIP-driven and guest service-focused environment; Must exhibit a focused attention to detail while working in a high-pressure environment; Able to write and speak in a confident manner; Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift; Must be able to control a multi-line phone; Previous cash handling experience
