Position: Host/Hostess – Sal & Mookies
About: Sal & Mookies’ is a full-service restaurant located in an inviting dining room, seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. The Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in managing table seating efficiently and ensuring minimal service delays, embodying the essence of Sal & Mookies’ as the first point of contact for our guests.
Requirements: Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; Preferred: Waitservice or equivalent experience at a full-service restaurant; Able to deal with stressful situations, listen to customer needs, handle various demands, stay organized with table service, maintain a friendly and positive attitude, communicate clearly, use telephone effectively; Physical: Ability to use legs, feet, arms, and hands, walk, stand, and carry up to 25 lb; Able to see and hear within normal standards; Mental: Proficient in English, basic math skills, ability to work under pressure
