Position: Host/Hostess, Part-Time
About: Pacifica Hotels is looking for a part-time Host/Hostess to join our Jamaica Bay Inn team. The role involves greeting and acknowledging all arriving guests, escorting guests to their tables, taking reservations, and maintaining reservation book. The Host/Hostess will adhere to Pacifica’s Pure Stay guidelines for the health, safety, and comfort of team members and guests, and maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor while providing personalized service to guests. Key responsibilities include seating guests, taking reservations, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent guest service.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; energetic and cheerful personality; experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain a friendly demeanor under pressure; familiarity with restaurant reservations and seating procedures
