Position: Host/Hostess – Part time
About: MedStar Health is seeking a Healthcare Host/Hostess to join their team. The position involves effectively communicating with patients, staff, and guests of the hospital, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of patient meal trays and floor stock. Responsibilities include delivering meal carts, aiding in meal setup at bedside, inventory management, and operating technical equipment. The host/hostess also handles sanitation activities, cashiering in the cafeteria, and other duties as assigned by MedStar/Sodexo.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; prior work experience not required, related work experience preferred; verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills preferred; ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide clear directions; basic food-handling skills.
