Position: Host/Hostess – Ghostbar – On Call
About: The Palms, located in a high-profile resort setting, is seeking a Host/Hostess to join their team. This position is crucial in creating a welcoming and positive experience for guests at the restaurant, ensuring their needs are met and communication flows effectively within the service team and management.
Requirements: High volume restaurant management or supervisory experience required; basic knowledge of computer software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as office equipment such as telephone, copier, and fax machine; effective listening abilities and strong judgment skills; excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; high school diploma or equivalent; two (2) years of related experience; willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays; must obtain a TAM/Alcohol Awareness Card, Southern Nevada Health District Health Card, and Nevada Gaming License; minimum age requirement is 21; experience working in a similar resort setting preferred
