Position: Host/ Hostess
About: A restaurant awarded the Great Place to Work Certificate in 2024 is looking to hire a Host/Hostess. The role involves warmly greeting and seating guests, maintaining professionalism and providing excellent customer service in a team-oriented environment. The Host/Hostess will report to the General Manager, Restaurant Manager, and Guest Services Manager for delegated authority.
Requirements: Education and/or experience: Up to 1 year experience in a similar capacity; Experience using OpenTable; Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Google Suites. Language skills: Ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in clear English; Clear communication with managers, kitchen, dining room personnel, and guests. Physical ability: Ability to work in a standing position for up to 10 hours; Exceptional grooming habits. Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding and deal with various situations effectively.
