About: The Nutrition Services Department at Heritage Valley Sewickley is seeking a dedicated Room Service Assistant to respond to patients’ food needs and requests on the patient unit. The role involves greeting patients, explaining the Room Service process, assisting with meal orders, ensuring patient satisfaction, liaising between patients, the dietary department, and nursing staff, and stocking unit floor kitchens.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; good reading, writing, and comprehension skills; basic computer skills; effective communication skills with patients, families, and staff; excellent customer service and telephone skills; understanding of modified diets; completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of starting
