Position: Host/Hostess
About: This job is for a Host/Hostess position at a restaurant. The Host/Hostess will greet and seat customers, receive payment, and assist service personnel to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling payments, seating customers appropriately, answering calls, and assisting with table set up and clearing. The Host/Hostess will also handle customer complaints and suggestions and maintain a clean hostess area. This role reports to the General Manager and Manager of the restaurant.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; ability to handle cash transactions and customer inquiries; excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work in a team environment; mobility to move and operate within the work area; compliance with health regulations related to food handling; minimum of 6 months experience as a host/hostess or cashier.
