Position: Host Fine Dining Restaurant
About: The Edgewater is Seattle’s only over-water hotel where rock’n’roll history meets Pacific Northwest luxury. A part of Noble House Hotels and Resorts—a curated collection of one-of-a-kind hotels, resorts, and adventures. The Edgewater Hotel is an independent boutique, one-of-a-kind, 223-room iconic hotel with 11,000 sq ft of meeting space. Six | Seven Restaurant at The Edgewater Hotel is a $9 million, three meal period, full-service operation with special event dining, high volume brunches, and a lounge featuring live entertainment and packed happy hours with views of Elliott Bay. The host is responsible for making a positive first and last impression with guests, while controlling the flow of the restaurant. The host will greet and seat guests, handle payment transactions, answer phones, make reservations, and assist all restaurant positions when needed.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred; strong communication skills; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; ability to prioritize multiple activities; ability to stand continuously for 8 hours
