About: The Strand House, a fine dining restaurant with unobstructed ocean views located in the South Bay, is seeking an outgoing and experienced Host/Hostess to join their team. The establishment is part of a successful restaurant and hotel group known for its chef-driven, modern heirloom menu, extensive wine list, and craft cocktail offerings. They prioritize a hospitality-driven culture and are dedicated to providing the ultimate experience for guests.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 1 year hosting experience in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant required, 2+ years preferred; minimum of 1 year experience with OpenTable; positive attitude, excellent communication, and people skills; professional demeanor and a warm inviting personality; ability to anticipate guest needs and handle different expectations; demonstrative ability to address challenging guest needs with professionalism; ability to collaborate with team members; excellent phone etiquette; ability to multitask and shift gears quickly; physical ability to walk up and down stairs at a multi-level establishment
