Position: Homewood Suites Salt Lake City Downtown – Laundry Attendant
About: The Laundry Attendant position is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel. The role involves all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing, and delivering. Additionally, the Laundry Attendant cleans laundry machinery and the laundry area.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred; ability to convey information and ideas clearly; ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations; ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure; ability to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full), with potential weight between 50-400lbs (weight may vary by property); ability to occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer, with potential weight between 25-150lbs (weight may vary by property).
