Position: Home2 Suites Augusta – Laundry Attendant
About: The Laundry Attendant position at a hotel involves maintaining a constant supply of clean linens, performing all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers, and chutes), ironing, folding, storing, and delivering. The role also includes cleaning laundry machinery and the laundry area.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to convey information clearly; work well in stressful, high-pressure situations; maintain composure and objectivity under pressure; ability to handle laundry carts with potential weight between 50-400lbs; ability to pull linens with potential weight between 25-150lbs from washer to dryer. Experience in a hotel or related field is a plus.
