Position: Hilton Garden Inn Reno – Laundry Attendant
About: The Laundry Attendant position is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel. The role involves all stages of linen processing, such as collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers, and chutes), ironing, folding, storing, and delivering. Additionally, the Laundry Attendant is in charge of cleaning laundry machinery and the laundry area.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred; ability to convey information and ideas clearly; proficiency in working well in stressful, high-pressure situations; capability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure; physical ability to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight between 50-400lbs (may vary by property); occasional ability to pull linens from washer to dryer with potential weight between 25-150lbs (may vary by property)
